About the association

Built by schools, for schools.

01 / 08

Private schools carry the weight of affiliation, compliance, staffing, branding and results, often with no one to turn to. ISA exists to change that.

We are a membership association of independent schools, run under the aegis of Be For Nation Trust, registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882. Members get a single point of contact for government matters, hands-on help with paperwork and systems, and access to programmes that lift the quality of teaching and learning.

Whether a school is applying for its first affiliation or running ten branches, the association meets it where it is.

Conducted with MSO, our olympiads and scholarship examinations give students a stage beyond their own school.

Member schools host the examinations on their own premises. The association handles registration, question papers, invigilation standards and results, and students receive certificates and scholarships on merit.

  • Mathematics, science, abacus and general knowledge olympiads
  • Scholarship examinations with merit-based awards
  • School-level, district-level and state-level rounds
  • Certificates for every participant, medals for winners

Questions school owners ask

Straight answers.

08 / 08

Any private or independent school, from a single-branch primary school to a multi-branch senior secondary institution, affiliated to any board or seeking affiliation. Pre-primary schools and coaching institutes are welcome to enquire too.

Representation before government bodies, timely updates on new rules, olympiads and awards for the school's students and staff, and support with digital branding, software and recruitment when growth demands it. Even strong schools benefit from a shared voice and shared resources.

We work alongside the school's management and office staff. The association prepares the checklist, reviews documents, guides the bye-law corrections and tracks the application. The school stays the applicant and the authority of record.

Robotics, abacus and NEET and JEE classes are run inside the school by partner faculty on the school's timetable. The association coordinates the partner, the kits and the syllabus, and reviews progress with the principal.

Membership plans depend on the school's size and the services it needs. We share the plan after the first visit, so a school only pays for what it uses.
